About Water Sort
Water Sort is a free water sort game you play in your browser. Each level lines up several bottles, each partly filled with stacked layers of coloured liquid. Click a bottle to pick up its top layer, then click another bottle to pour. You can only pour onto the same colour, or into a completely empty bottle. Sort every bottle so each holds a single colour to win.
How to play Water Sort?
Click a bottle to lift its top colour, then click a destination bottle to pour it in. A pour is only allowed if the destination is empty or its top colour matches. Click the same bottle twice (or an invalid target) to put the liquid back.
Sort every bottle so each one contains a single solid colour to clear the level. Use the Undo button if you make a mistake. It reverts your most recent pour. Each level adds bottles and colours, so think a few pours ahead.
Work backwards from the goal. Figure out which colour needs to be at the bottom of each bottle, then determine what is sitting on top of it that needs to move first.

Tips and strategy
- 1Work backwards from the goal. Think about which colour needs to be at the bottom of each bottle, then figure out what's sitting on top of it that needs to move first.
- 2Never pour a colour onto a different colour. You can only pour onto matching colours or into empty bottles, so if a colour is trapped under another, you need to clear the top one first.
- 3Use empty bottles as temporary parking. If you need to shift a colour out of the way, pour it into an empty bottle, rearrange what's underneath, then pour it back.
- 4Undo is your friend, not a crutch. If a pour doesn't help, undo it immediately. There's no penalty, and it's faster than planning five pours ahead in your head.
