AhaMinute is a small games studio building casual browser games. No downloads, no sign-ups, no in-app purchases. You open a page, you play, you close the tab. That is the whole thing.
Why we started AhaMinute
The casual games market moved to app stores, and somewhere along the way it got complicated. Install an app, accept permissions, sit through an ad, watch a tutorial, hit a paywall. By the time you are actually playing, your five minute break is over.
We thought the web could do better. A browser tab can run a full game in seconds. No install, no permissions, no storage on your device. You close the tab and it is gone. That is the experience we wanted, so we built it.
Every game on AhaMinute is built with Javascript technologies, runs entirely in your browser, and works on any device with a modern browser. Phone, tablet, laptop, desktop. Touch, mouse, or keyboard. If your browser can render it, you can play it.

We are a small team that has spent years making casual games. We build the kind of things we want to play on a five minute break.
How we build our games
We build each game from scratch using Javascript technologies, depending on what the game needs. Arcade games like Snake Sprint use Phaser for smooth rendering and physics. Puzzle games like Tile Flip 2048 and Daily Sudoku use React for precise input handling.
Every game is designed to load in under a second on a normal connection. We keep the file sizes small, the assets lean, and the code efficient. Your best score is saved in your browser's local storage, so it carries over between sessions on the same device without an account.
We do not run ads on the game pages. The site is free because we want it to be, not because we are selling your attention. If that ever changes, this paragraph will change first.
What you can play right now
We currently have 10 games across 4 categories: Arcade, Puzzle, Word, and Cards. Some are classic formats like snake, 2048, and sudoku. Some are our own takes on match 3, word unscramble, and memory sequences. All of them are free and run in your browser.
